Comparisons of integrators on a diverse collection of restricted three-body test problems

The restricted three-body problem has many important astronomical applications. We present a diverse collection of 28 symmetric and asymmetric, stable and unstable periodic orbits for the two- and three-dimensional problems and compare the performance of eight general purpose integrators on the orbits.

Key Words: restricted three-body; two-dimensional; three-dimensional; symmetric; non-symmetric; stable; unstable; comparison of integrators
